I'm always glad to see a new novel in this series.
I like this series a lot, even though it is not SF. This is the twelfth in the Masters of the Shadowlands series and it was as good as I hoped. I don't want to say anything specific about this story. The series is built around a formula - a submissive woman finds herself in trouble, to one degree or another, and one (or more) of the Masters of the Shadowlands Club rescue her. What keeps me reading is that even with this formula, Cherise Sinclair has avoided the trap of telling the same story over and over again with different characters. Each story is new and fresh. I don't know how long she can keep doing this, but for as long as she keeps writing good stories in the series, I will keep reading them.
I gave this book four out of five stars on Amazon and Goodreads
